msmu.pv.set_options

Enable or disable input/output hashing in this execution context (default True).

Parameters:

hashing	bool	Whether recorded calls compute input/output content hashes. Disabling hashing does not disable provenance recording.	required

Returns:

None	None. Updates settings for the current execution context.

Notes

See compute_hash for hash semantics and get_options to inspect current settings. Hash verification during replay requires recorded hashes.
